Swim Program Continuing with Success

The 10 kids from the Marin City Boys & Girls Club are having a great experience with our swimming program every Friday at the Mill Valley Community Center.

They love taking part and learning and are gaining greater personal confidence, not only around the water and maturity in the program, but also personal confidence, health and general demeanor.

These kids and instructors couldn’t be more PROUD of what they’re accomplishing, and it’s because of you this has become possible. Thank you.

The next group, including those whom want to continue, starts the beginning of next month.

Sustainable Sports Helping Twelve Kids Learn to Swim

Next week begins the next chapter of our program giving select kids the opportunity to learn how to swim, whom might not have had the chance to do so.

The attached picture shows the six boys whom will be taking part in our eleven-week, three-days a week program, at the Mill Valley Community Center.

There will be twelve kids total taking part in this program, and we expect them all to be ready to show off their skills for everyone at the July 19, 2014 Marin County Swim!

We have some future triathletes in this crowd for the 2014 Marin Country Triathlon; so stay tuned!

Want to know where your money goes when taking part in a Sustainable Sports Foundation event?

We support our community!

…and are so proud to announce that beginning this August, eight children (ages 4 thru 7) from Marin City will be the first group to take part in our scholarship program to learn how to swim and be safe in the water.

A big thank you to the Mill Valley Community Center, MarinKids and Performing Stars of Marin for their support and helping us to make this dream a reality.
